Unlock your creativity by joining this weekly tutored class, perfect for beginners and art enthusiasts of all skill levels. You’ll start with the fundamentals and receive step-by-step guidance on essential drawing techniques such as placement, measuring, perspective, shading, colouring, and more. Each session features a different subject matter, multiple drawing tasks, and expert instruction tailored to your skill level. It also provides a comfortable and structured environment with good lighting and soft music to enhance your practice and help you focus.

As you progress, you will explore various styles and techniques using pencil, graphite, charcoal, ink, pastels, acrylics, and watercolours. You will also have the chance to develop your personal style alongside other participants through constructive feedback. Ultimately, you will learn to draw quickly and accurately, while embracing method, artistic flow, and freedom. Remember! Everyone can draw well with regular practice and expert guidance at their skill level – why not you?

Our two-hour sessions are held weekly at the heated small hall of the Great Western Community Centre, where free parking and disabled access are available. There’s no need to bring any materials; all supplies and equipment are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. You can start anytime in the month/year.
