Mapping bodies (2019)

[50 MIN SITE-sensitive dance PERFORMANCE]
A mixed-aged group piece, co-created during the summer artistic residency of “BodIS” performance team at Animart festival, Hydra. The piece opens a poetic dialogue with the ages of L.Koundouriotis Historical Mansion, while exploring self-reflective trajectories through renacting parts of “BodIS” site-specific performance in a different space and historical context.

ā€œTrial + Errorā€ cross arts research group, along with five students of ā€œKeratsini-Drapetsona School of Artā€, present a site-specific dance performance, created during their artistic residency at ā€œANIMART” festival 2019 in Hydra Island.

Seven bodies remapping the history of the city. Triggered by the architecture and landscape, the body senses space and narrates its silences, as it traces yesterdays in present through dancing and immersing gazes in the uninterrupted sharing of “us”.
