Are fractals the answer to inner human geometry?

Attempting to grope the immeasurable geometry of feelings, she loops on the perimeter of an impeccable shape, the square. The square does not condone any mistakes and drives the individual to the quest of a never-ending pattern, of a square within a square, within a square, on a seemingly infinite spatial existence in between our familiar dimensions. Persistently dancing on, in and in relation to a squared fractal-inspired structure in space, she conquests for the impossible: to infinitely continue creating the smallest square, searching to balance bewteen geometry of sentiments and vanity of human rationalization.

This solo performance is a delivery product of the ongoing research project “Performing Geometries: Embodying Regular Euclidean Shapes Through Dancing”. The performance is the research’s first case study on the square shape, which besides deploying Euclidean Geometry, it is also inspired by Fractal Geometry.
