“Happy Together” screendance film presents the final rehearsal of a virtual dance ensemble. How can an ensemble choreography be researched, rehearsed, and performed at four different places and, when put on screen, still give the illusion of taking place on the same stage? Created solely remotely between Scotland and Greece, this work explores the urgency and irony of dancing together and apart.
